June 17, 2020 - The West TN HBA celebrated the 2020 Vesta Home Show at Spring Creek Ranch with socially distanced groundbreaking ceremony. A crowd of local dignitaries, board members, and HBA members spaced out and looked on as builders Dave Moore, Blake Grissom, Griffin Elkington, and Zack Mobley put shovels to the ground.
“We're excited to be moving forward with our 2020 show, and delighted to be back at Spring Creek Ranch", said 2020 Vesta Chairman, Mark Miesse. "COVID-19 has certainly presented some challenges, but with ALL challenges, are opportunities. To allow for safe distancing practices, this year’s show is going to look a little different from shows in the past, but we feel it’s going to be the best ever!"
Contingency plans are in place should dated and timed ticketing become necessary due to the pandemic. To help space out the crowds, the Vesta comittee will introduce a variety of ways for guest to experience the show. Special events held on designated days, like Senor Tuesday, Realtor Wednesdays, Thank-You Thursday, and Food Truck Fridays will encourage visitors to attend the show on weekdays. Corporations, organizations, and clubs will be able to schedule small private events, like a Tour and Chat-Back Brunch with one of the show's interior designers, a Wine-Tasting Tour with the Builders, or a Dine & Design Rotation Dinner, featuring local chefs preparing themed courses in the state-of-the-art VESTA kitchens.
Another new feature of the 2020 Vesta will be the interactvie Outdoor Living Display, sponsored by Fergusons. Show visitors will be able to walk through the display, check out the appliciances, and imagine how they might transform their backyards into unique outdoor living spaces.
"This year’s show will literaly sore to new heights", said Miesse. "Bluff City Hot Air Balloons will offer thethered ride during our Preview Party on October 2nd, and throughout the opening weekend. Spring Creek Ranch is Boyle’s master-planned 820-acre development off Raleigh-LaGrange Road in the Collierville rural preserve area surrounding the 330-acre Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. The 2020 Vesta Home Show will kick-off with a preview party on Friday, October 2, 2020. The show will open to the general public on October 3rd and run through October 25th.
